Abi, from Wolverhampton, shows us how to make glitter bottles. Let’s find out…

What did you do?

1. Find some glass bottles and clean them of all debris.
2. Decide the best side, place the vinyl sticker down and rub it to ensure all bubbles are out.
3. I am attaching mine onto the wall, so I placed some double sided Velcro tape on the back first before glittering.
4. Take two brushes. I would recommend a very thin one for edging and a soft one for rubbing off excess glitter.
5. Using PVA glue, steadily go around the edge of your vinyl. You may want to leave a small gap and because it will be glittered back and front, you won’t see this if it is slight.
6. Sprinkle with glitter onto a piece of paper (for catching excess).
7. Section by section, add glue then glitter. Don’t glue the whole bottle as it dries quickly and you will have some patches.
8. Leave the neck of the bottle until last and then you can stick your finger in to elevate and turn it.

Ensure that you have enough glitter!
Don’t put them too close together if doing different colours as the glitter transfers easily!
