Shilpa, from Bangalore, India, sent in this great spin on Sudoku. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

COLOUR SUDOKU .

Today we planned some brain game to boost imagination and logic with COLOUR SUDOKU. .

Sudoku is best way to enhance your child’s logical and critical thinking aspects and is a good mind exercise which can be very relaxing too .

Unlike regular sudoku where a problem is divided into units of nine, these 4×4 logic puzzles uses color….here kids have to find the colors that are allowed in a blank space. .

Instructions to play:

Every row, column and mini-grid must contain the colours red, yellow, green and blue. And the same colour should not be repeated again in a row, column or mini grid.

You can either download the files and print it or you can draw the simple grids on a plain paper and give it to your child..

So, grab a red, green, blue and yellow pen and design some of these new colour sudoku puzzles at home for the kids to have a go at…:-) .

Do you have any other projects planned?

Next on our agenda is doing some gardening activities as this is the best way to connect with nature and to distress, especially for kids.

Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…

I’m Shilpa Swarnim from Bangalore , India.

I’m mother to two lovely and curious kids, Shambhavi and Shlok.

I have recently started documenting our learning journey with our kids in instagram @shilpaswarnim , for Al to learn and grow.

How are you finding being housebound so far?

These are exceptional times and we as parents are trying our best to shield our kids from all negative impressions during their pandemic and provide them a happy and healthy environment at home.

Do you have any tips for other parents?

1. Spend quality time with your kids.
2. Engage them creatively and productively in various art and craft activities at home.
3. Read to them.
4. Indulge in gardening by growing your own kitchen garden.

Has this website and community helped you?

This is very unique concept where you are providing a platform for budding bloggers like us to showcase our work and list out activities we do with kids.
