Jen, from Goring by Sea in the UK, sent in this great dande-lion craft. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

All you need is some strong card or cardboard, glue, pens and some dandelions from the garden.

We simply drew and cut out a lion face on some card. We then went out in the garden and collected lots of dandelions. Then we stuck them down for the mane and my little one wanted to colour the lion in! That’s it!

We loved the fact it’s easy, simple and involves going outside too. It held my toddlers attention and he loved going out to collect the dandelions. You could easily incorporate a nature walk. It hardly involves any equipment or craft supplies so should be accessible to most.
I also think he looks lovely!

Do you have any other projects planned?

We are currently working on some toilet roll farm animals!
