Siobhan, from Ireland, shows us how to make a floral crown…

What did you do?

This floral crown is a lovely nature activity.
Choose 3 flowers with long stems to start.
Tie all three together with string or twine.
Plait the stems together. To plait cross the right stem over the top of the middle stem. Now it should look like the right stem is the middle stem and the middle stem is the right stem. Next, cross the left stem over the new middle stem and continue.
As you work your way down the plait add extra flowers when the stem is coming near the end.
When finished tie the ends together and make a circle.
Attach in a circle shape.
Plait more flowers throughout the crown if you want!

The plait can be tricky so take your time and make sure you add a new flower a couple of inches before the end of the stem.
