Food and healthy eating, in general, can be a hassle for parents worldwide without Lockdown and trying to keep the little ones full and busy. Sally, a Primary School teacher from Cardiff, Wales not only makes delicious snacks for her 5-year-old little girl and 2-year-old little boy, but she has made it a fun enjoyable activity. Let’s see how they’re made…

Describe your activity

Line a plate or tin with some baking paper. We used a Calpol syringe to fill up 5ml of the kid’s yoghurt and made little drops of yoghurt on the plate. Add chopped up fruit or whatever you fancy. Freeze for around 2 hours and enjoy!

What worked/didn’t work?

The baking paper is important as it makes the drops easy to transfer into a pot once frozen.

What’s your next project idea?

I do many tasks daily with my 5 and 2-year-old! Craft, baking, home learning, toddler activities etc Lots of ideas on my Instagram @homelearningisfun.
