Constanze, and daughter, unleashed their imagination with this frozen unicorn chalk craft project. Let’s take a look at what hey did…

Things you will need:

  • shaving foam
  • water
  • food colouring (ideally liquid, otherwise mix the water with it)

Instructions:

  1. First you need to prepare the colours, I used a mixture of shaving foam and water so it’s nice and creamy but can be filled in the ice cube trays easily
  2. then add drops of liquid food colouring in the tray to make different colours. With the shaving foam they turn out in super nice pastel shades
  3. Add ice cream lollies so once frozen the paints can be held easily. I have done this with clothes pegs before so be creative with what you have 🙂

For babies, you can use yoghurt instead of shaving foam so it’s safe to eat.

What’s your next project idea?

This weather calls for outdoor activities so we will probably be up for some more water play activities and gardening.

Tell us a bit about yourself…

My name is Constanze. I have a 2 yr old daughter and love creating spaces for her to explore and wonder and hoping to inspire other parents with ideas.
