Have you ever thought about making a baby seat out of a pumpkin? Why? Perhaps for a baby photoshoot or maybe just because is a cute idea. This article shows you how you can easily create your very own pumpkin baby seat.

Thanks to Marina, from Texas, USA, for sending in this great Halloween photo shoot idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

1) Cut top off of a rather large pumpkin that baby can fit in; take all pumpkin seeds and insides out of pumpkin.
2) Cut leg holes toward bottom of the pumpkin.
3) Write a Halloween message with a sharpie
4) Take picture of baby inside of the pumpkin and enjoy!!

It was a tad difficult to write on the pumpkin with the sharpie. It took me a few times writing over the letters for the words to show. You could try paint? I found a big enough pumpkin that baby can fit inside easily and probably still have room to move around.

Do you have any other projects planned?

I always go with the flow. I try to do something fun for a photo op each holiday!

How are you finding being housebound so far?

It is very interesting and lots of fun ideas to try with my kiddo.

Do you have any tips for other parents?

Just be patient and let the kids make a mess because they’ll only be kids for so long. Don’t rush your kids to grow up.
