We show you how to make Halloween Character Footprint Art at home. A fun craft idea and a keepsake for the future to see how your children have grown.

Thanks to Paula, from Scotland, who sent in this great Halloween Character Footprint Art idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

We made Halloween character footprints.

It is a simple activity for all ages, and it makes the perfect memory for years to come.

All you need is a variety of colours – we used green, white, purple, orange and black. A sheet of paper – we used black.

1, Paint the heel up to the ball of the foot in one colour ie green, paint the ball and toes in another ie orange
2, place foot on the paper and count to 10
3, carefully remove the foot and there you have your shape
4, in this instance we used the black to add the face and white for the eyes.
5, you could then write the date at the bottom of the sheet as a memory of this Halloween.

The giggles as the paint was “tickling”. It’s a really simple activity that my daughter thought was great as she got messy and she could personalise the characters.
