Lauren, from SW Scotland, sent in this great leaf threading idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

We did leaf threading. We went into the garden to pick some leaves and find a small stick to act as a needle.

This was a lovely calming activity that we all enjoyed.

It develops:

  • Fine motor development skills
  • Develops eye-hand coordination
  • Concentration skills.

The simplicity of the set up and how calming it was when we were doing it.

Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…
