Lewis and Leanne, from Weston-Super-Mare in the UK, earned themselves some couple time. Rather than just having a night on the sofa, they went all out (or all in-in) with this fantastic date night pub crawl.

Tell us all about it…

Here are details from our “staying in-in” pub crawl around the house while in lockdown.

My wife Leanne and I wanted to do something different on one of the bank holidays during lockdown as all we had been doing was entertaining our child, Thomas, so this was something for us.

Each room had a different theme, we dressed up and got a taxi (our son’s car).

First stop was the Ye old tavern (the kitchen). This had a UK pub playlist and we played some cards and had some drinks and laughs.

Then it was on to The Lounge Cocktail bar (the living room) the music playlist was a cocktail bar playlist, piano sort of music. I make a really good espresso martini so we had a couple of them chatting and listening to the music. It was really nice and chilled there.

We went to head to the loft but we did not stay there long so after that we headed to Popworld Weston (the dining room), where I put disco lights up and we had the official Popworld playlist on so it was cheesy but really fun. We had a few more drinks and had a good dance lol (Popworld saw this on my Instagram @richlews and our giving us free entry on their opening night when they open their new club in our hometown Weston-super-Mare after lockdown).

Then we called it a night and had a pizza before bed in the early hours.

I would definitely recommend doing this for a couple that need a night in and something different from entertaining the kids.

All the signs we made were helped by our son so also gave him some craft time in the day.
