We show you how to construct your own Christmas Fire place out of cardboard. A home made way to add some extra magic to the festive season!

Thanks to Michelle, from Northamptonshire, who sent in this great homemade Christmas fireplace idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

We got an old tv box cut out the middle, and made a chimney with another box.

We then cut out lots of brick shape cardboard pieces and painted them.

Then we covered all the boxes in white paper and then glued on the bricks with a glue gun.

Lastly, we used another piece of cardboard to make a fire shape cut out.

We loved this because the kids could help! Even the 3 yr old got stuck in with painting and it was all because Santa needed a way of getting in the house so it was very magical making it.
