We show you how to make your own Cling Film Painting. It is a fun and mess-free activity that your children will enjoy. Creating a colourful masterpiece!

With thanks to Bethan, from Solihull, for sending in this great clingfilm painting idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

This super fun activity is great for times when you might not be ready for the mess! And the finished piece is gallery-worthy!
Simply dot child-safe paint over your paper or canvas, cover with cling film (tape the cling film down to avoid slipping) and let your little one squidge, squeeze and splat the colours around!
Remove the film as soon as they are finished and allow to dry.

It’s mess-free, so great if you have limited time (or just don’t feel up to a messy activity – we all have those days!)
The finished piece is gorgeous!
