You and your children can make lots of fun, homemade Halloween decorations. Here we show you how to make a Halloween witch.

With thanks to Trace, from Guernsey, for sending in this great Halloween witch idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

We made our own Halloween Witch!

What you need: Card tube. You can use any card tubing but not too long. Get some black paper or colour in some plain white paper.
Glue/sticky tape googly eyes or make your own. Card any colour.

How to make a Halloween witch: Firstly get your tube and coloured card. Roll the tube in the card so you see no tube. Cut off excess card/paper leaving a little overlapping the tube so u can tuck it into each end of the tube.

Make the eyes nose and mouth and stick on. For the hair, you can use shredded paper. Any colour or cut strips of paper. Use sticky tape to attach to the top of the inside of the tube. Making the hat its best to use a thicker paper or card.

Draw your hat then cut it out making it a little wider than the drawing. Make a slit on top of the tube each side so the end of each side of the hat sits in. Bend the end around and tape. Decorate the hat however you wish. Stick on eyes nose mouth.

Whallaaaa finished xx
