Do you and your children love Moana?! If so, read on for how to create your very own Moana inspired sensory play tray at home. You’re Welcome!

Bonus points to anyone who is now singing the “You’re Welcome” tune!

Thanks to Chloë, from Somerset, who sent in this great Moana sensory play idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

I loved setting up this activity! We are huge Disney fans in our house, so if there are any other Disney fans out there this was so easy to set up and looked really effective too!

I used a metal tray which I purchased from Home Bargains,
Cous cous and chick peas to represent sand,
Blue packing peanuts and gems to represent the sea,
And then added our Moana characters with some resin items too!

Adult supervision during play is needed.

This activity stayed out for almost two whole weeks! Eliza loved it so much and each day would go back to it to engage and play.
It was lovely to see her imagination come to life and watch her play.

Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…

I’m Chloë, mummy to Eliza who is 3 and I live in Somerset.
