We at Housebound with Kids love Halloween, especially homemade crafts that make us smile. Here is one of our favourites – a witch in a tree! Enjoy!

With thanks to Kirsty, from Warrington, for sending in this great witch in a tree idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

We decided to decorate our garden for Halloween this year with a witch, but not any old witch ours has crash-landed into our tree.

We used black bags, carrier bags, bamboo, and tights for the legs and arms. We attached them to the tree with masking tape. We then attached the broom, cape, wig, and hat with tacks.

For the hands, we used gloves, filled them with cobwebs, and lollipop sticks to keep the fingers straight.

We then attached the witch’s fingers.

Watching it come together attaching it to the tree it was so funny. Also, the looks on people’s faces as they pass our home!
