Sammi, from Scotland, sent in this great frog jelly pond and chia seed slime sensory play idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

The next day just plop it all out on a tray and present to the kids to explore.

Add on activities:
– Discussing the frog life cycle
– Providing some tongs for your child to rescue the frogs.
– Giving them a wash basin of soapy water at the end and invite them to clean the frogs. Water play and helps with clean up!

Sensory experience with fine motor element and the chia seeds really do resemble spawn when rehydrated!

It was also great for entertaining both my 11 month old and 3 year old!
