What did you do?

Using wooden shapes I set out a few examples on our tufftray. You could do this on the floor or table and encourage my children to create their own repeating patterns.

My three year old made patterns which was great and my five year old made lots of repeating patterns. They both talked about patterns for a couple days after doing the activity

I’m Sarah, I have two children who are three and five. I set up my own Instagram page to share my ideas in lockdown. I really enjoy seeing what other people have created and it all helps to make lockdown easier.
