Shruk, from Egypt, sent in this tasty idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

This is an awesome family activity!
You can plant with your kids some herbs in your garden and then they can use these herbs in any dish! I plant at my home in medium sized pots (Thyme, rosemary, basil and mint).

Ingredients:
– 4 medium carrots, potatoes, Zucchini, peeled and sliced into fingers

– Garlic powder
– salt and freshly ground black pepper
– paprika
– Fresh rosemary, thyme and basil
– 4 tbsp olive oil

Put all vegetables fingers in the tray and cover it with all the herbs and olive oil then cover it with a foil paper.

Bake it in the oven for 20 minutes or till it becomes crunchy.

Cooking with your kids provide a practical experience including many skills especially when you plant herbs indoor or outdoor in your garden.
This meal smells headily fragrant as good as it looks.
