Becca, from Yorkshire dales., sent in this great idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

Sensory bags for babies and toddlers is such a simple activity that anyone can make. You will need:
Zip lock bags,
Paint/ Water/ Oil,
We also added small toys, letters, numbers to be moved round.
Bag one: We used green glitter paint in a zip lock bag and small fish to be moved around the bag. Brilliant for hand eye coordination.
Bag two: Water, oil and food colouring.
These were then put down to be explored, you could tape them to windows to encourage standing in younger children.

These we a big hit with both my children ages 1 and 3.

Do you have any other projects planned?

How are you finding being housebound so far?

I’ve actually really enjoyed spending extra time with my children enjoying a slower pace of life.

Do you have any tips for other parents?

Don’t worry about the mess and just enjoy making memories with your children.
