Laura sent in this great food craft idea. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

Today we set off to make some 3D shapes with mini marshmallows and some dry spaghetti. We made shapes buildings and lots of other things, the kids loved it we spent about 3 hours doing it and the only reason we stopped was that we ran out of marshmallows, once we had finished we had our tea and then the children had the marshmallows for pudding, it was a maths lesson fun and all mess-free.

I can’t fault this activity it was great fun and just needs a little bit of patience, you could use a cocktail stick if you wanted but we did have any.

Do you have any other projects planned?

Buy more marshmallows!

Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…

I’m a working mummy with two fantastic children who keep us very busy and never really sit still, I am off work doing all the childcare and homeschooling during lockdown but most of all having fun and making memories.

How are you finding being housebound so far?

We are loving it we are just making the most of it, don’t get me wrong we have our bad days but, but we have more good days and just do our best to keep ourselves busy.

Do you have any tips for other parents?

We are all doing a fantastic job, look are your children they are happy and safe, just have fun.
