What you will need:

  • Watercolor paper
  • Watercolor paint
  • Paintbrushes
  • Ruler (optional)
  • Pencil
  • Black oil pastel
  • Paper towels
  • Water dish

Instructions:

  1. View pictures of spider webs and discuss the technique of spinning a web.
  2. Draw a web using a pencil. Best to use the barriers of your paper and a ruler for angles.
  3. Trace lines with black pastel.
  4. Paint in between lines with watercolor. Choose any color pattern you wish.
  5. Allow to dry.
