Ann-Marie, from Ireland, brings the Toy Story characters to life with her son. Aaron. Let’s take a look…

What did you do?

The things you will need are white paper to draw your 4 characters and markers to colour them in. Then you glue them to cardboard and we added popsicle sticks .

For Hamm the pig, use a plastic bottle with pink paper for the cap and the bottle, and for the tail, a pipe cleaner.

For Bullseye the horse and Rex the dinosaur it was cardboard with googly eyes and for the horses tail we used some wool.

For the Potato heads we used white paper, again, draw their faces and colour them in with markers then glue them to stones.

Forky, we didn’t have any forks so, we used what we had at home and came up with a toilet roll. With white paper again we drew out and added googly eyes, pipe cleaner for hands and popsicle stick for legs with white putty attached.

For the Alien I used my son’s handprint in green paper and attached googly eyes and popsicle stick.

For Slinky the dog we used white paper, coloured in brown and cut into 6 stripes.
5 stripes are needed for the body, make them into a circle staple them after each strip until its made into a string of them (like a paper chain).
The 6th piece is used for tail cut it half way to make it shorter and cut the edges to make it stick out for his tail.
To make the face, attach it to the first circle you made and add googly eyes.
To add the feet just cut 2 stripes and colour cream attach under first circle and last circle.

Tell us a bit about yourself…

I am 38 years old, from Ireland, and am mother to 3 and a half-year-old Aaron. I have been enjoying making craft activities with Aaron most days and find it a way to keep sane whilst educating him.

What are you doing next?

I am planning on making some Winnie the Pooh paper plate plates next.

We look forward to seeing those Ann Marie!
