Arouge, from Manchester, made this lovely wooden peg fairy. Read on for more details…

What did you do?

Today we made a wooden peg fairy.

Things you will need are:

  • wooden pegs
  • knitting wool
  • craft card: we used black as that’s what we had at home
  • pom pom makers ( Poundland or The Range are the cheapest, I’m using the one from The Range)
  • double-sided tape to attach the wings

Instructions:

  1. Make the pom-poms and tie on the wooden peg.
  2. Use felt tip pens to colour the body and make a face
  3. Cut wing shapes from the card
  4. Decorate how you like
  5. Stick at the back of the peg using double-sided tape

I am struggling to make time for the kids but do try to do at least 1 activity per day.
