Suzette, from the Philippines and living in Australia, sent in this great ping pong ball target game. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

Here is a fun way to strengthen those hand muscles and practice hand eye coordination and great for fine motor skills.

What you will need:
• Cardboard box or piece of Styrofoam
• Golf tees
• Ping pong balls
• Spray bottle

1. Push golf tees into a cardboard box or styrofoam.
2. Carefully put the balls on the golf tees, or better yet, give your child this task!
3. Finally, fill up a spray bottle with water and let your kids spray ping pong balls down. The further they stand from the game, the more difficult it is!

It teaches them how to focus. It helps hand eye coordination and great for fine motor skills.

Tell the Housebound With Kids community a bit about yourself…

HI! My name is Suzette, I have two kids one is 17 years old and a almost 3 years old boy. I am originally from Philippines and live in Australia as my husband is Australian. I love setting up activities for my boy as I find it our day is better when I have activity ready for him when he wakes up his night nap and afternoon nap.

Do you have any tips for other parents?

Toy rotation, setting up activities and be present with the kids. At first I always worried about the house was messy but then I realise they grow up so fast and you cannot bring back the time. So I learned to enjoy with them and be with them when my boy need me.
Toy rotation helps me a lot give me some breaks and have my hot chocolate (I am not a coffee person) He can play longer independently.
I rotate his toy weekly or twice a month it depends when I see him not playing much the toys in the shelf or if he played less time then time for the toy rotation.
