Stacey, from Cambridgeshire, had this great idea to make wool clouds to hang up, with a rainbow theme. Let’s take a look at it…

What did you do?

A beautiful addition to any household window or garden in these time where support for key workers has been essential to keep morale up. The cloud rainbows are simple to make and most households would have the materials around the house. The cloud rainbows are cut out of cardboard, wool is wrapped around the template and coloured wool is then wrapped over the bottom to hang loose like rain or a rainbow. It really was that simple.
I saw the idea online and new it was something that I could do easily with minimal cost.

Wrapping the wool round the cardboard can be a little tricky as cardboard is delicate, especially when cut into a cloud shape,
The finished product can take some time, for what it is but when experimenting with various colours you get slightly addicted.

Do you have any other projects planned?

I have had the inspiration to do several other things around the house, add some fake flowers to reed diffusers, create a nice garden space for my young son and generally update picture frames around the house,
