Amanda and her oldest daughter made this fantastic tree house, mainly using items found outside of the house. Wanting to do something similar? Here is how…

What did you do?

For our stick tree house, we started by gathering pieces/sticks/wood/moss things we had laying around & built off a cedar shingle to create this.

My oldest had a blast helping put it together and this is a project you can always drop and pick up later when you’re bored!

We used hot glue for this and a couple of small finish nails.

Tea lights look beautiful on this lit at night!

Tell us a bit about yourselves…

I have two girls ages 3 & 8. My oldest loves anything arts & crafts. I like to do activities with her I find equally as interesting. Recently that’s been DIY houses/play-sets.

How are you finding being housebound at the moment?

The least favorite part of quarantine has been the social distancing & the unknown but we have enjoyed the extra time together. We plan on doing some dream catcher representations next. We appreciate how everyone has come together during this time and how it’s opened our eyes to the notion that you don’t always have to leave the house to have fun!
