Chloe from the UK kept her preschoolers entertained with this Bob The Builder Tuft Tray idea. Take a look…

What did you do?

We made a Tuff tray made from rice, smash, Rice Krispies, wooden slices and bob the builder toys.

I poured out each ingredient into different sections of the tray and used the wooden slices as a divider.

Easy to recreate if you have any builder theme toys or books. Using anything in the kitchen cupboard as a base or natural objects from outdoors such as mud, grass or twigs.

My preschoolers enjoyed singing ‘Bob the builder’ (on repeat), scooping and filling and mixing the base layers together.

To enhance this tray you could add some builder photos, real bricks, hard hats and vests as well as paper and pencils on clipboards to encourage little ones to design anything they want to build.
