Aimee, from Melbourne, Australia, had fun creating ice cream stick ballerinas with her children. Let’s take a look at them…

What did you do?

It is a simple little activity using Ice cream sticks (small and large), cup cake cases, coloured pens, glue/sticky tape, wool for the hair and Diamante‘s to decorate!

Instructions:
-Take a large ice cream stick & decorate adding a face & top of the dress
– Take 2 small sticks as legs and fold a cup cake case over the top, so the sticks are in the middle, tape in place. Add some ballet shoes.
– Then stick the top of the legs/skirt onto the body.
– Cut a small ice cream stick in half and add as arms.
– Finally add some wool for hair & decorate with Diamante’s!

It was fun to let the girls make them the way they wanted to, choosing the cup cake case, decorations etc. They just needed help with securing the pieces together. You may want to use a glue gun (adults to glue).
